The Aledo Real Estate Market in December 2016
I compiled data of the real estate market for Aledo ISD in December 2016. There was a huge increase in the number of homes that hit the market (67%) and the number of homes sold (43%) in December 2016 over December 2015. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the data for January and into the early Spring.

New Listings: 55 (Up +67% from last year)
Sold Listings: 46 (Up +43% from last year)
Average Sales Price: $394,225 (Up +2% from last year)
Days on the Market: 88 (Up +17% from last year)
Percentage of List Price: 97.2% (Up +0.1% from last year)[/pullquote]
There was an increase in the number of days on the market in December. We have been seeing days on the market decrease throughout 2016 when compared to 2015 with the exception of February and June. 39% of homes sold this month did so in 30 days or less. There was 15% that took over 200 days to sell. Thus skewing the average towards the higher end of days on the market.
